a snippet of the performance

The ‘language of equal importance’ covers many complex layers, at its heart are differences dualisms and oppositions that struggle to find symmetry and balance in an unequal world.
The traditional portrait is used as a metaphor for appearance and a reflection of self image.

This work is as much about what is hidden as what is seen. It challenges the hierarchal language that has historically been assigned to appearance.

The theoretical research was predominantly focused on the theory of sexual difference in Psychoanalysis.
