Oceanic Souls is a body of work by artist Maxine Hall, funded by East Midlands Arts.

Oceanic Souls takes its inspiration from the magical and ancient rituals of the Aboriginal peoples. Backgrounds of pure, sensuous colour reveal curious organic forms that are blended and mixed to suggest the cyclical nature of life and all things natural.
Like the Songlines of the Aborigines, repetition and the use of repetitive pattern is also important in this work, making direct reference back to the ritual of the digital process itself.
